Services
Not only do we do everything you would expect of a normal GP surgery, we also offer a range of other specialist clinics - see Clinics and Services.
We have a free-for-patients car park and an attached pharmacy operated by Boots.
All of our consulting rooms are disabled accessible and we have a lift servicing the upper floor.
We are delighted to have been rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission. See our report here.
Online
Our registered patients can order a repeat prescription, see their medical records and test results online. The best way to access this information is via the NHS App. For security and confidentiality reasons users must register and these services are password protected.
Some problems can be dealt with via an e-Consult, but DO NOT use e-consult for any urgent matter. The e-Consultation system is designed to help patients get a quick and easy solution to relatively minor and straightforward requests or problems, which will usually be of an administrative nature. It is not suitable for carrying out a clinical consultation which might need discussion, explanation and examination. If you have a medical problem you need to speak to the doctor or nurse about, and especially if any examination will be required, please do not send an e-Consult request. This will take time to respond to. Instead, phone to make an appointment for a telephone or in-person consultation, in the usual way.

Text messages from Cestria
In order to keep you up to date we would like to send you text messages from time to time.
These messages will only ever contain basic information, such as a reminder that you have an appointment coming up soon, or that 'Flu vaccines are available, or asking you to phone in because we have a test result available, etc - that kind of thing.
Most patients find this kind of message useful, and most GP practices now use text messaging in this way. We strictly adhere to NHS England's guidelines.
We will never share your phone number with anyone else. Our messages will never contain any sensitive details.
If you are happy for us to use text messages in this way, and we have an up to date mobile number for you, there is no need to do anything else.
If you would prefer not to receive any text messages from us, please let us know by phone or in person when you are next here, and we can note this using a code on your records. Please remember to let us know if your mobile number changes, and its especially important to let us know if you give your phone(number) away to a friend or family member! Thank you.
