A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Attached Staff

Community Matrons and Nurses specialise in the care of people who need nursing in their own home. They also have a role in health promotion and providing routine check-ups for the housebound.

Midwives help with care during and for 10 days after pregnancy.

We also have access to Dieticians, Podiatrists and other professionals, and we host services such as Hearing Aid Fitting and ENT Clinics, Skin surgery and Dermatology.
